Dragon Ball 113-116 Reaction
“Who’s here? Who’s here for Dragon Ball?! I’m so pumped to dive back in—the last couple of episodes were straight fire, seriously intense!
Quick side note: How’s the new keyboard looking? Yeah, I’m obsessed—I love it. It’s so pretty, sleek vibes. Can’t really show it off properly right now, but trust me, it’s fire.
Okay, real talk: It’s been wild going back and forth between dub and sub for this whole journey. We kicked off the series in dub, and man, Dragon Ball dub is completely unhinged in the best way—pure chaos, over-the-top energy, zero regrets. It’s been such a fun ride.
But now that things are getting way more serious—higher stakes, darker tone—I’m leaning into the sub more. Hearing those Japanese voice actors (Luffy’s VA popping up in there too, wild!) just hits different. Plus, I miss the narrator so much when we switch back to sub. That classic narration voice? Iconic.
There’s this whole thing people say: ‘Sub is tragedy, dub is comedy.’ And yeah, it was hilarious until it suddenly wasn’t. I was having a blast, then bam—people are dying for real, and I’m like, ‘Wait, hold up, why is everyone dying?!’
I’m assuming they’ll come back somehow… right? Let me live in my denial for a sec, chat—don’t ruin it!
But seriously, we ended the last stream on such a crazy cliffhanger. Major losses, the dragon’s gone too—no easy wishes anymore. How are we even bringing anyone back now? I was in total shock leaving off there.
Hopefully you’re all caught up and here with me—no spoilers, please!
I’m excited (and a little nervous) for these next episodes. King Piccolo’s out here conquering, Goku’s climbing towers for power-ups, Tien’s off training some secret technique… let’s see what happens!
Alright, enough rambling—hit play, let’s react! If you’re loving this classic Dragon Ball run, like the video, subscribe for more, and I’ll see you in the comments. Dub squad or sub squad? Tell me below!”
